 One of the most prolific types of modelling is Glamour Modelling. Glamour Modelling is a broad term that encompasses the poster pin-up type’s that you would usually find in men’s magazines and tabloid newspapers.
Glamour modelling can be fun. But a glamour model should also be aware that doing a particular job will stay on their record. Modelling or acting for adult material can come back to the model if and when they reach the mainstream spot-light. Another thing to consider is that if a model were to pose say a “Page 3” style shoot for a newspaper or magazine, any of the models friends, family or acquaintances would be able to pick up a copy. The Sun’s “2006 Page 3 Idol”, Keeley Hazel recently had to threaten serious legal proceedings against several websites which got hold of a sex-tape featuring Miss Hazel. However, some models actually court this attention as it can propel them in to the limelight, or keep them there. Two alleged examples are Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson.

Magazine
The most common sort of glamour modelling is for magazines. This type of magazine modelling is about the model rather than what they are wearing. Typical examples are found in mainstream lifestyle magazines for men such as FHM or tabloid newspapers such as The Sun.
Adult Material or Erotic Modelling
Brought to notoriety by the U.S. magazine Playboy, this type of modelling features nude or partially clothed models in sexually explicit positions.
Adult Film
Adult Film Models will be required to appear naked, simulate or perform sexual acts in pornographic films.
Fetish
Modelling fetish clothing and apparel such as latex, corsets, body piercing and shoes. This type of modelling can often be pornographic in nature, and may illustrate scenes of bondage or other.
Artistic
Posing for an artist or artists to create a drawing, painting, artistic photograph, sculpture etc. It is common for artistic models to be required to pose nude.
